Jennifer Lopez Purse

As promised, I said I would post a picture of my lovely new purse by J to the L-O. I stated before that I got a super good deal on this and I'm pretty proud of it

The purse isn't cheaply made and seems like the material will last quite sometime with proper care. It has diamond-like print all over it with some solid color as well. The color is Taupe and has two dark glitter stripes going down the front. The straps are studded towards the bottom; I'm always a fan of anything with studs on it. I absolutely love the color of it and the glitter gives it a pop of glamour without overdoing it. It's a huge purse, which I'm always a big fan of huge purses; I tend to stuff it full. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it so far and where I got the purse from....EBAY! :)

This is the second Jennifer Lopez purse I've purchased...I love her designs. They're so classy and glamorous at the same time.  Everyone should definitely check them out if you like the purse I've shown above. She also makes killer heels and gorgeous clothes.

Have you purchased anything from Jennifer Lopez? If so, what do you think of them?? :)

My Immune System S-U-C-K-S

I can't believe I'm sick...again. No, wait, yes I can. I've had the immune system of an infant ever since I had cancer and lemme just tell ya...IT.IS.ANNOYING. I felt it coming on at work the other day and I KNEW it was going to be a bad one. I had to go to the doctor today(big surprise)..I'm now on 3 different meds. The weather here is the reason for the terrible sinus infection...it goes from 30 to 80 and around again. The temperature was around 30 this morning...ridiculous considering it's May and guess what? We're back to 80 on Wednesday! I'm hoping the meds will kick this stupid thing..I go to the beach in less than 2 weeks soooo yeah. I needed to rant as you can tell. I'm just over the whole being sick all the time thing.

Anyways, I hope everyone has had a good day/good evening

Favorite Online Store aka eBay.

Okay, I'm confessing....right here...right NOW. I'm an ebay fuhreaaaaak! There I said it. I've found so many awesome deals on there! Anything from make-up, jewelry, clothes, and cell phone cases! Yes, I've bought used clothes before which look brand new. I actually purchased a brand new purse by Jennifer Lopez, which retails for $109.00 and I bought it for a little over $40.00!! I lucked up on this deal and I plan on posting pictures of my new beauty. One particular thing that I love about ebay is that you can check other users feedback. The users with the lowest(obviously) isn't someone you'd want to purchase from. I also get feedback for when I make payments and such on the products that I purchase. I'm over 100 on positive feedback percentage(yay me!!).

Another awesome thing about eBay is that they give you an estimate of when your purchase will arrive! I use USPS because UPS cannot find my physical address for some odd reason. You also have many options of payment, I prefer to use paypal..which is through my VISA card.

I've honestly purchased from eBay longer than any other online store. I love deals and I always seem to find the best one's on there. If you haven't tried eBay out before, I definitely recommend it. My ebay username is endlessdream06 so checkkkk it out :) I don't have anything listed but still....if you have anything to sale, I'd love to take a peek of what you have!

Ulta sale = Happy Happy Happy Tina

As you can tell by this picture I was a bit naughty when I seen Ulta had a sale on NYX Cosmetics! Half off everything of that particular brand; I'm a sucker for make-up deals or deals in general. The Maybelline products were buy one and get another product half off so I went with that also!

I know you see about 4 eyeliners but I'm trying to find that "perfect eyeliner". I heard NYX liquie eyeliner is preeeeetty great so I HAD to have it! The other eyeliner is by Loreal; also heard wonderful things about this product as well! I'm hoping one of these is "the one" for me, I might like them all who knows! I'll have to recap when I actually use them all.

I bought two different concealers by NYX; one in which I've used before and needed to repurchase. The HD is the one I've used before; it covered my blemishes pretty well! The other is concealer in a jar....I've seen Dulcecandy87 use it in some of her Youtube videos; it doesn't seem to crease when she applied it. The concealer also covers up the not-so-awesome dark circles, which I have horribly when I first wake up of the mornings.

I purchased NYX foundation primer, I applied a tiny bit on my hand just to feel the textured of it. The primer doesn't feel like it weighs you down or makes you a grease ball, so two A's on that part. I'm hoping my foundation will blend on smoothly after applying it. Again, I'll have to let everyone know how it goes!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk-I needed a nice highlighter for my eyebrow bone and the corners of my eyes. I noticed Heidicupcake used this in a few of her videos and thought it looked absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure I won't have any complaints about it; I know it'll help brighten my eyes up a bit!

NYX setting spray-I've never used a setting spray before so I figure NYX would be my first. I have no idea how good this spray is but it had some good reviews on Ultas website. They had two different one's so I decided to get the matte finish. I love the porcelain/flawless finish so I figured that would be my cup of tea!

Have any of you tried these products? If so, please leave me some feedback!

Million Dollar Tan

I'm all about being tan and I used to lay in the tanning bed every now and then to maintain a healthy looking tan but since I had cancer, tanning bed is a no-no for me. I actually heard of this product from Nicole Guerriero 's Youtube video. I seen how completely and beautifully brown she was and have similar skin to hers(olive skin tone). I was afraid to purchase the product at first, thinking I would end up orange. I FINALLY talked myself into it and let me just say this..W-O-W! This self tanner is beyond amazing! My first use was totally successful, my skin was definitely a lot darker the morning after. I usually apply the tanner after I've showered/exfoliated. The product comes with a sponge type brush and is fairly easy to use. Million Dollar Tan has a color guard so you know if you've blended it well.

Your tan should last at least 6-12 days but it seems like mine has lasted longer than that, not complaining a bit about that, though! Million Dollar Tan has other tanning products as well which I would love to get my hands on! I'm definitely going to try the extreme version at some point. With summer around the corner you should give this product a spin! Especially if you can't lay in tanning beds or are afraid to lay in the sun.

I posted a picture on instagram when I got the product and tagged Million Dollar Tan and they kindly responded back to me, I was stoked! Anyway, I'll leave you readers with the screen shot of the conversation.

Favorite fragrance at the moment...

Victoria Secret Pink: Sun Kissed

Since I can't sleep for the life in me tonight, here's a review!

I'm currently fragrance obsessed, I love trying new body spray and perfume. I was at the mall last week and made my usual trip to Victoria Secret. The last time I was there, I didn't find any perfume that impressed me but last week was different! I seen this little beauty sitting on the shelf and was immediately drawn to the peachy color. I opened the bottle, sprayed it, and immediately fell in love with the smell. You can definitely tell that there's vanilla in it, which I love, I'm all for anything with a vanilla scent! Anyway, what I liked about this fragrance is that it doesn't have a musky smell nor can you smell the alcohol in it(Victoria Secret can slightly guilty for this). I love the way it's not a heavy smell; it's light and doesn't choke you. I also noticed there was body lotion to go with it so of course I picked that up as well. I've worn this body spray everyday since then and have gotten lots of compliments on it.

What's your favorite fragrances? Do you like any by Victoria Secret?

Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is probably one of the most amazing musicians I've ever heard in a long time. I love music and the fact that she plays the violin with a dubstep feel, is beyond awesome...there's seriously no word to describe it. I know she made several rounds on America's Got Talent but her Youtube videos was the start of a new path for her. My friend, Sheena, was the one that got me addicted to her unique style of music. I listened to "Electric Daisy" and kept it on repeat for DAYS. I checked every week(and still do so) to see if she has anything new posted on her Youtube account. Her most recent video, she collaborated with Pentatonix(you NEED to check them out!!), and again, I'm floored. I love their voices mixed with the sounds of a cello and of course, the violin! Lindsey seems so down to earth, goofy, crazy(in a good way), sweet, girl! I'm hoping to go see her live sometime, from what I hear/have seen, she puts on a badass show! If you don't know who this truly talented artist is, look her up on Youtube, you won't be disappointed! You can also find her on instagram and twitter, look up lindseystomp as the usernames.

Anyway, here's her new video with Pentatonix:

Favorite Beauty/Fashion Books Part 1

1. Face Forward by Kevyn Aucoin:
First off I just want to say Kevyn Aucoin was an AMAZING make-up artist. He was someone that truly loved what he did in life. He didn't think certain women should wear certain shades of lipstick or eyeshadow. He discusses beauty in every different form in women. He targets specifics about your skin and facial structure. The quality of the pictures are amazing in this book, definitely a jaw dropper. Kevyn goes into specific detail on how to apply your foundation and what you should use to apply it with. The book is full of different looks that did on celebrities such as Winona Ryder as Elizabeth Taylor look. I'd strongly recommend anyone that's a fan of make-up to purchase this book. The looks inspire me to do something different and to step out of my comfort zone a bit!

2. Lauren Conrad: Style
From talking about a scarf to spice up a winter outfit to hair accessories, Lauren Conrad hits the nail on the head when it comes to fashion. In this awesome book, she tells you what jeans would look right on you and what size pocket(if any) that you should go for. I also love the fun photos of Lauren, she's absolutely gorgeous! She shares information of what inspires her and unique looks to go for. I'd also recommend this book to anyone that is into fashion and beauty!

Cancer: A pain in the neck, literally.

I keep getting asked on why I've lost so much weight when I was already skinny to begin with so here's the long story behind it.

I was diagnosed with Papillary Cancer at the end of July last year aka thyroid cancer. For those of you who have no idea what a thyroid is, here goes! A thyroid is a gland that releases hormones relating to growth and metabolism. It's a BIG factor in your body and a lot of people don't know that! I've had my neck checked since I was 19 years old because I've had nodules inside my neck since then. The last ultrasound I had, showed that one of my nodules grew and was sent for a biopsy. The doctor told me I had papillary cancer right then and there. My surgery was August 2nd of last year. I had to miss 3 months of work. It was a very hard time in my life...I had to have a round of radiation to kill out any remaining cancer cells.

Anyway..I have to take medicine everyday for the rest of my life. The medicine was too high therefore, I lost 10 lbs. I fluctuate from 103-105lbs now. I'm 5'3" keep in mind BUT my doctor said as long as I'm not going under 103, he's not going to worry about it.

I get lectured everyday on how tiny I am, I can't help that.  You didn't know my story but now you do.

Urban Decay: Half Baked

I jumped onto the Urban Decay bandwagon, FINALLY. I made my very first UD purchase at Ulta. I've seen so many awesome reviews on their eyeshadows so I decided to pick out a color. If you know me, you know I absolutely LOVE bronze/brown/gold colored eyeshadows. My eyes scanned through all of the shadows then I found one that caught my eye. My eyes were drawn on the 'Half Baked' color. It's got the shimmer, which I love so I think it would blend great with a matte brown. The texture is light and glides on your eyes smoothly. I also think this color would go well with MAC's eyeshadow in 'Woodwinked'. The colors are similar to one another but I think blending them together would really flatter your eyes.

The pricing was about the same as MACs eyeshadows. I bought Half Baked for $18.00, not including tax of course. I believe it's well worth the price for it's qualities. I'll definitely be repurchasing this; I can't wait to try their other eyeshadows either!

What's your favorite Urban Decay eyeshadows? I'd love some recommendations!

NARS Illuminator: Laguna

I've heard all the fuss about NARS products from different Youtubers and well, I convinced myself to buy one of their products. I browsed around and decided to order their Illuminator in Laguna. I love bronzers and anything that will make you look darker/exotic so this was right up my alley.

The packaging detail wasn't anything overdone, simple but it suits NARS, in my opinion. I bought the biggest size that they had, which was 5.5 oz.

I was so excited when I pulled out the product, I felt like a kid!  As soon as my eyes laid on it, I noticed the shine against the light. I had a feeling I'd be addicted to this product in no time, which is what I was hoping for! I opened the lid and I don't know what it is, but I have to smell new make-up products, I don't know why. I guess I'm a weirdo!

As you can tell it's quite dark when it's first on the skin. The texture is nice, not oily or doesn't make you skin feel heavy.

After rubbing it in this is what it looks like. I love how it makes my skin look, I'm all about shimmering effects on the skin. It makes you look exotic and would be perfect to use in the summertime. I have olive skin tone so it blends perfectly and enhances my skin quite a bit. The product kind of reminds me of Milani's body bronzer, only this product has a lighter feel to it. It makes my skin look gorgeous. I also think it would be appropriate if you were going out at night to have that extra glow to you. I'm all about beautiful skin and this definitely leans towards achieving that effect. All in all, I'm very pleased with this product. Without a doubt, I'd repurchase this beauty. I can't wait to try more NARS products!!

What do you think? Do you like this Illuminator? I would love to hear your input on this!

xoxo

Define Beautiful...

People often think the word "beautiful" means a perfect body, face, hair, etc. but is that REALLY what makes a person beautiful?

Everyone is different and that's what makes us unique. When you look in the mirror and don't like what you see, stop and think about what you DO like about YOU. If you're overweight and want to lose weight, DO IT. You have to do what makes YOU happy...not by anyone else's happiness.  If you wanna dye your hair a different color, again, do it for YOU. Do what makes you feel beautiful and sexy. Everyone has the right to feel that way about themselves...confidence is such a wonderful thing to have. I think people get that mixed up with being cocky/arrogant.

People have a tendency of being shallow and judging people by their opinions...judging someone doesn't define them, it defines what kind of person you are. You aren't perfect so what makes you think another person should be? The image society puts into girls minds is ridiculous. A girl shouldn't look a certain way. A girl should look however she wants without society pressuring her into being someone she's not.

I believe that anyone that embraces their flaws is beautiful in every single way, so please remember that if you're ever feeling negative and sad about your appearance...you're b-e-a-utiful!
